IFA Conference Berlin - September 10th 2015
IFA Conference Berlin
September 10th 2015
For the first time ever, the IFA Conference was devoted exclusively to “Football’s Digital Transformation” in October 2014.
Tech-world specialists and decision-makers from the football industry gathered for a day together.
This conference met with such positive response that we decided to follow up on its core theme, turning Deutsche Telekom’s Hauptstadtrepräsentanz once again into a digital meeting-place for football aficionados.
Digital capabilities and the emotional sides of football are going to open up entirely new fields of business … and close down old ones.
There will be new ways of experiencing the game and its star players, with communication lines to clubs, football grounds, leagues and associations open 24/7. Sponsors will find new channels to reach out to their target audiences. Big data is a reality.
The virtual and the real worlds are going to merge. eSports/gaming’s phenomenal success is seminal in creating a growing global community, star players and supporters, flows of money, and technologies.
Our experts in Berlin will forecast the kind of blend to come out of this process.
- Is Virtual Reality going to turn the world of football upside down?
- Will media rights business become the tomorrow’s wild wild west?
- What will be the impact of eSports enormous success on the sports industry?
- Are players going to be turned into flesh-and-blood computers?
- How will fans consume their football in future?
- Do ordinary football clubs stand a chance of surviving the digital revolution?
